Madonna's 3 Stone Antique Engagement Ring

When Madonna married British film director Guy Ritchie in Scotland, they went all out antique style.   Their wedding was held at the century old Skibo Castle in Scotland. Sadly, the couple divorced after 7 years, but the wedding was remembered. Guy proposed to Madonna with a 5 carat, 3 round stone diamond ring in an Edwardian style by Neil Lane.  Madonna’s wedding band was platinum with several small set diamonds.  Guy gave her a stunning 19 carat diamond bracelet, as well as  diamonds. Around her neck she wore a 37-carat diamond cross, designed by the House of Harry Winston in New York.  Finishing off her bridal look, she wore a 1910 Edwardian diamond tiara costing $250,000 which was loaned to her by Asprey & Garrard. Catherine Zeta Jones's Marquise Engagement Ring


Not everyone can afford a 10-carat marquise diamond such as the one Michael Douglas proposed to Catherine Zeta-Jones when he asked her to marry him.  What makes their engagement ring different is the marquise setting, which is positioned on its side than length wise.  I am sure Catherines engagement ring is not easy to wear, because of the size of the diamond, but Michael sure hit a home run with this glamorous setting!  With a smaller size diamond, it would be one of the uniquest settings for a engagement ring.  The couple's fairy-tale wedding was held in November of the year 2000 which hosted over 350 guests and cost more than $1.5 million.
